Gus Gus

Continuing with the animal/pet theme that my blog has had lately, here are some cute pics of my kitty. For all the trouble he causes meowing at me in the middle of the night, Gus sure is entertaining!

Pink in the morning

When I was growing up if I wanted to know if the weather was going to be good or bad, my mom used to say, "Pink in the morning, sailors take warning." Since I have been home for "spring break" we have gotten about 5-6 inches of snow. Sunday morning I woke up to Gus parading around my room, chirping at the birds and this beautiful pink/orange/yellow mural on my wall. It was a good indication since it snowed on and off all day yesterday. In case you are wondering you can also tell when there will be good weather, the other half of the saying was, "Pink at night sailor's delight."
